The revitalized Mercury Room and Highball are located in the heart of downtown Rochester. Just walking distance from many retailers and shops, this bank turned restaurant will be located on the lower, and ground level of the distinctive 1 East Avenue building. This dual space features a comfortable, lively atmosphere that uplifts the post-pandemic Rochester community and embraces our social nature to live in relationships and be a part of society. A step away from the hustle and bustle of a long day, this mid-century modern design presents historical, unique sawtooth elements that bring users back to a time when the economy of Rochester was booming. These elements are accompanied with sustainability practices and nature-inspired materials that aim to enhance user experiences while also encouraging movement, flow and interaction. The Mercury Room and Highball ultimately strive to create a shared, friendly environment welcoming people from all walks of life in hopes of bringing back the lost sense of community in Rochester.
